The role of Tensor Networks in simulations of Hamiltonian Lattice Gauge theories
In this tutorial I will detail how the problem of Lattice Gauge theories, cast in Hamiltonian formalism (Kogut-Sussking and beyond), can be tackled with Tensor Networks (TNs) numerical methods. I will review baseline features and algorithms of TNs, and eventually show how their properties can accurately account for the protection of lattice gauge symmetries, ultimately providing a sign-problem-free numerical tool for simulating gauge theories at finite densities.
